CONSCIOUS CHOICE
Another-Label aims to design each collection more sustainable than previous collections. We want to reduce our overall carbon footprint, by offering a mix of conventional and sustainable materials.
Our sustainable items can be recognized by the light green ‘Another Conscious Choice’ label.
With every collection we strive to increase the sustainable materials used and to keep on informing ourselves with the global developments in the
market.
LET'S
REDUCE
OUR FOOTPRINT

Our ambition is to increase the percentage of conscious materials in every new collection we develop. Below you can find all materials we use that are tagged as our conscious- choice products.
Lyocell-Lyocell is natural, man-made fiber, made from wood pulp. For the production of lyocell no toxic chemicals are used. Because of the closed loop system, all chemicals are recycled and used again. The water used in the process is around 20% less in comparison to other productions, like cotton. Lyocell is bio-degradable and compostable which means that all items made of lyocell can revert back into nature.
Lenzing viscose-Lenzing viscose is certified because it’s made from pulp from responsible managed forests and comes from sustainable sources. Lenzing viscose uses 50% less water in comparison to the production of viscose. It’s certified with the international recognized EU Ecolabel.
Recycled polyester-Recycled polyester is made from recycled materials, like PET bottles and polyester fabrics. The energy needed in the production process of recycled polyester is around 30-50% less than virgin polyester and for this no new petroleum is needed. Therefore reducing the overall carbon foot- print. Recycled PET prevents that PET bottles are ending up in landfill. Recycled polyester is certified with the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or RCS (Recycled Content Standard).
Recycled nylon-Recycled nylon has the same benefits as recycled polyester. It’s often made from waste, like fishing nets or post-consumer nylon waste (like carpets and tights). Conventional nylon doesn’t break down easily and the process of producing nylon is chemical-, water- and energy-intensive. By recycling nylon you prevent that the waste ends up in landfill or the ocean. Recycled nylon is certified with the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or RCS (Recycled Content Standard).
Recycled faux leather-Faux leather used in our FW’22 collection is partly made of recycled polyester. The top part of the fabric (the surface) is made of conventional polyester. The backing of the fabric, the part that is in direct contact with your skin, is made of 60% Recycled polyester and 40% Conventional polyester. This fabric is certified with the GRS certificate.
Organic cotton-Organic cotton is grown without any toxic chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers. Therefore it prevents soil damaging and air pollution. The production process of organic cotton needs 88% less water and 62% less energy.
Recycled cotton-Recycled cotton is made from recycled cotton fibers. By using existing materials, the amount of energy and water is reduced. By recycling, it is prevented that the existing materials go to landfill, therefore waste is reduced. Recycled cotton is certified with the GRS (Global Recycled Stan- dard) or RCS (Recycled Content Standard).
